Ceres has provided environmental remediation services to safely and efficiently remove hazardous materials and restore the natural environment for more than 25 years. With specialty in-house equipment and expert consultant partners, Ceres brings both the professional talent and capacity to execute small- and large-scale projects.

Asbestos Removal

Our high quality asbestos removal services are based on detailed site assessments and our unique ability to creatively design and implement complex plans/programs in accordance with all federal, state, and local health and safety guidelines. Asbestos remediation has been a part of many of Ceres’ contracts for demolition and post-disaster work. In fact, many of our demolition projects for the US Army involved asbestos-containing material. Post-disaster demolition of disaster- or event-damaged buildings also involves suspected ACM. All ACM was handled according to State and Federal guidelines and disposed of properly.

We use certified Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) building inspectors to survey all buildings with potential asbestos abatement needs. Surveys include visual inspection of the property for suspect materials and sampling and analysis of suspect materials in accordance with the state regulatory agencies. Testing reports are then reviewed with the client to determine the best approach for handing the material including encapsulation or complete abatement.
